The Embassy of Japan in Vietnam has announced information about the Specified Skills Assessment Test, which is scheduled to be held in Vietnam from April to September 2025.
According to the announcement, the specific skills assessment tests currently scheduled are in the following 11 areas:

Specific Skills Examination Schedule (April to September 2025)

<Scheduled to be implemented sequentially from April onwards>
Nursing care, building cleaning, construction, accommodation, agriculture

<Scheduled to be implemented sequentially from May onwards>
Food and beverage manufacturing industry, restaurant industry

<To be implemented as soon as preparations are complete>
Industrial manufacturing, shipbuilding and marine industry, automobile maintenance, automobile transportation

Above 11 fields

<Currently, no events scheduled (5 fields)>
Fisheries, aviation, railways, forestry and timber industry

In addition, the JFTBasic (Japanese Foundation Test) is scheduled to be implemented sequentially from April onwards.
